I am a career and leadership motivational speaker specializing in making connections, creating opportunities, and out-of-the-box thinking. I give a wide range of keynotes to various organizations including women leadership groups, universities, K-12 education, and informal STEM and community organizations.

I am an astronaut with Inspiration4, a geoscientist, and a STEAM communicator, who gets to travel and participate in unique learning experiences. I have done faculty exchanges to Australia, China, Chile, and the Netherlands. I have done research as an analog astronaut living in Moon and Mars simulation. I was a the science communication officer on the JOIDES Resolution, a PolarTREC teacher in Barrow, Alaska, an astronomy educator ambassador to Chile, and a NOAA Teacher at Sea in Kodiak, Alaska. I’ve been featured on numerous tv shows including Genius by Stephen Hawking, A World Without NASA, and Strange Evidence.
