Dr. Robert Price serves as the Chief Technology Officer of CleanJoule, Inc. bringing over 15 years of experience developing breakthrough technologies at the intersection of synthetic biology and synthetic organic chemistry. His work at CleanJoule has focused on the scale up of biomass conversion technologies enabling the next generation of propulsion systems to utilize domestically produced and performance advantaged fuels. Dr. Price earned his PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Utah developing treatments for oncological malignancies supported by fellowships from the PhRMA Foundation and the Nano Institute of Utah. After his transition to industry he held multiple wet laboratory roles before serving as the Director of Research and Development at Technology Holding and the Chief Scientific Officer of Biocosm, Inc. His prior research programs have spanned fuels, energetics, chemicals, textiles, and pharmaceutical interventions garnering in excess of $125 million of research funding.
